A nice sunny brisk November day in Brookhaven State park, showing some of the ponds that are shrinking. We have had plenty of precipitation yet the ponds continue to shrink. This possibly has to do with all the development in the pine barrens depleting the aquifer faster than nature can replenish it. Lawn watering is most likely the biggest cause. I also talk about the show Storm Chasers on the Discovery Channel and my crush on “DOW girl” (Karen). She doesn’t seem to be afraid of tornadoes and severe thunderstorms, but could she still think the piney woods are too freaky?

This is a video segment that I captured from a show on the Brookhaven Hospital. It is a follow up of an obese father of three who worked as a banker who’s obesity got ahead of himself. His maximum weight was 630lbs but has reduced as he says in the video. I was compelled to capture this story because a lot of the experiences that he talks about shares similarities of my own life as I am sure it does many people in our situation. Sorry if the quality is bad but this is my first shot at doing this as I an old fart using new technology unfamiliar to me. Please feel free to comment as I would love to hear your feed back. I am a morbidly obese man larger than this man and I am comfortable with myself and I enjoy having dialog with any person even if your comments are good or bad on this type of subject matter of weight, obesity and of course daily life. What ever your stance is on obese people I hope you’ll appreciate the struggles of these people and realize that they are human beings.
